Who we are

This website is run by Northern Education Videos Limited. The company is registered in England and Wales (number 13932342). We are based in Durham. We are responsible for the personal information described here.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry, we collect your name, your school or organisation, and your email address. We also collect your phone number and message, if you give them. We use these only to reply to you and to plan any filming.

Your enquiry is emailed to us and kept in our own booking records. We do not sell it, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

Pupils' information is covered separately on our safeguarding page. In short, your school holds pupil consent, and we follow its guidance.

Why we can use it

We use enquiry details because you asked us to contact you. Once a school books, we use them to carry out the agreed work. For the advertising cookie below, we rely on your consent.

Cookies and advertising

We do not use analytics cookies. However, we do use the Meta Pixel. It is a small piece of code from Meta, which owns Facebook and Instagram. It shows us whether our adverts lead schools to visit the site or get in touch.

The Meta Pixel only loads if you choose "Yes" on our cookie message. If you choose "No thanks", it does not load at all. To change your choice, use the "Cookie settings" link at the foot of any page.

If you agree, Meta learns which pages you visit and whether you sent an enquiry. It does not receive what you typed in the form. Meta handles that data under its own privacy policy.

We also remember your cookie choice in your browser, so we do not ask on every page.

Films on this site

Our films play through VidFlow. A film only loads from VidFlow when you press play. VidFlow may then set its own cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details while we deal with your enquiry. If you book with us, we keep them with our business records as the law requires. Otherwise, we delete them when they are no longer needed.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you. You can also ask us to correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Simply email us, and we will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have used your information, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
